In countries where TB is more or less under control, the state, assisted by voluntary agencies, provides complete care of TB persons. This service consists of medical, social, economic and industrial care of the sufferer, covering the whole period of his treatment, pre-sanatorium, in-sanatorium and post-sanatorium. In this country this service must be on a voluntary basis and for many years to come can only be adequately rendered by the TB Association and F.O.S.A.
